Wow. What a gem. Passing through on our way to duke point ferry terminal and decided to stop for a quick breakfast. We were offered coffee before we even sat down. Friendly staff (I'm assuming the owner?) Was amazing. Hands down the best customer service I've ever had. Food was great, quick, and he sent us off with go-to cups and fresh coffee. Would return for that reason alone. Wish more places had such a personal touch. Thanks for ending our trip on a high note! :)
Came for Sunday prime rib night. Love the place but needs major improvement. First thing is the prime rib dinner was $21.95 for an 8oz. Ill say it was three course but the salad to start had obviously already been plated and stored earlier. Less than appealing and limp. For a $22 prime rib dinner I would expect from scratch / drippings gravy. Didnt confirm, but this was a package by my guess. And not even the right kind. Very disappointing. If youre serving a prime rib dinner at least make the gravy from scratch. Unless the reason is you used all the drippings for the Yorkshire pudding..... definitely not the case here. Yorkie was weak... flavourless. Ill come back for wing night. But as for an appetizing dinner menu, so far this is strike two. All of these things can be fixed. Thats fine if you wish to keeps your prices high... but please have the quality and presentation be a reflection of that. Worst part of all.... not once... at all, all night, was I ever asked how anything was . Red flag. Come on deez. You can correct this.
Food quality dipped a bit when a new owner took over but it seems to have rebounded. Great wings. My main complaint with the place is their insistence on having live music. I'm no old man but the place is waaaaay to small to accommodate a live act and even the smallest sound system overpowers the entire bar. I like places like this to talk and drink with friends. Not to have to scream at each other over a three piece band doing 70s music.
This is a fairly ordinary Pub but we thought their food was rather good. Good price and good value. The veggie burger was actually really the best I've and not something I would have expected from a restaurant serving primarily meat and seafood dishes.
Had a terrible experience. Their prices are high for the food they bring you. Fries appeared and tasted like McCain freezer-burned fries. Rice was obviously Uncle Ben Minute Rice - not worth the 18 dollar price tag. Never make any kind of mention that you aren't really hungry, as they will take it as an opportunity to give you less food for the same price. They are biased towards the locals. Better off going into town.
