Very convenient location however quality and/or prices could improve. Fries are sold separately from main dishes. Most dishes are smaller than anticipated. Ice cream is soft served with flavoring. Hotdogs and smokies are made on a rotating heat rack. Overall flavor is varying from good to sub mediocre depending on item. Has decent seating though usually busy due to location.
Great location, but as others say the burgers are terrible. I could have sworn my thin overcooked pattie was actually made from pork breakfast sausage and not beef. I'm not the first person to comment on your burgers, fix this and your customer base will increase considerably. Really wanted to like this place as it's a great spot on the beach where there are few options. Slushies were good though.PS: can't not mention this, there are way too many 5 star reviews, not sure why but people seem to have really low expectations these days.
One star is for the hilariously tacky unbrelllas and one star is for the beautiful view. The food was spectacularly average and tasted the exact same as if any person with basic understanding of how to work a grill made overpriced thin slabs of meat. The fries tasted slightly burnt and I could compare it to the taste you would get after licking concrete on a hot day. The vanilla ice cream was good but if you wanted a different flavour you had to settle for paying a dollar and a half more and it would taste remarkably like vanilla with a suddle feeling of being ripped off. Please avoid and I would recommend McDonalds over this. At least you get ac.
Though it has been years between my visits here, The Beach Hut remains an ideal place to eat right on the beach. The young staff there are attentive and efficient, and keep the seating area clean. A highlight is definitely the 20+ flavours of soft-serve ice cream, perfect for those summer days.
