Loved the food! My first time sushi experience and it was amazing. wonderful staff. The only problem early in the night they stopped doing take out. and the place is really small and crapped. but after everyone else left no complaints. Will definitely order again. Definitely try this place out.
The sushi is delicious and even beats a lot of places in Vancouver. The rice to fish/filling ratio is on point and the rice is perfectly cooked. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and recommended this place.
I've been in here many times for lunch and dinner and am impressed with the staff and the food. They go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of like bringing me tomorrow when I mentioned I couldn't eat breaded shrimp anymore because of the wheat. And the food quality is almost always on par.Had lunch with my pops and my tuna sashimi and avocado cucumber veg roll were very good. I also ordered the California roll with real crab which was okay, but the texture of the crab was a little off and very dry. It's a limitation of real crab and I know that but would have been nice to have a little something to pull it all together.Dad had the seafood on Ball and was very happy with the flavor and portion size. Decent variety of seafood but a lot of pollock fish ball instead of natural, unprocessed Seafood.All in all a good place and I highly recommend it for eat in or take out.
Came for lunch and got the lunch box.Not much of a place to look at inside.Sake was served good and hot.Sunomono was nice and cold.BUT. Rice was to starchy, imitation crab starting to have fishy smell. I didn't like their house salad dressing, to mayonnaisey. Over all, when I left, I had Gut Bomb feeling.No washroom.Sorry, but will not return.
Great food and reasonably priced. But we all stare at our cell phones. How to change that?
