We decided last minute to go for dinner. We chose Black Bird Schnitzel Haus. Although we had no reservation they were able to fit us in. The asked if an hour was long enough for us to have dinner. Yes it was. The best schnitzel we have ever had and superior service. We can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food. Great service. Very good price. Lunch portion is perfect. You may be taking some dinner leftovers home but would love to try not too. Will be back often. Want to try all the different schnitzel.
Would have been a 5 star but I didn't like the coffee. The schnitzel was amazing. Will definitely come back.
We drove up from Nanaimo because of a friends recommendation. I grew up on homemade schnitzel and it was worth the drive. Great family run restaurant. The owners are very friendly and their son, the chef really knows his stuff. Were glad we made a reservation. Every table was taken by the end of the night. Well definitely be back.
Very friendly and professional servers. Food is reasonably priced and always very consistent in quality. Lots of different schnitzels to choose from, as well as some other German meal options too. Personally I am not a big fan of German food myself but this place is amazing anyways and I will definitely be returning. Definitely one of the better restaurants in the Parksville/Qualicum area for sure. Atmosphere is clean and cozy and the music is very fitting as well (not too loud either which is good).
