We stayed in a beautiful room on the second floor with a stunning view of the ocean. So nice in fact that instead of eating out we grabbed a few things from the store and enjoyed a casual dinner on our room patio staring out at the sunset. The decor was modern and tasteful. The suite felt luxurious, and the spa facilities were gorgeous. This place seriously exceeded my expectations and its at the top of my list of places to go, even if just for the night, to get away.
Had such an amazing romantic get away here with my life partner. I booked last minute on a long weekend not expecting too much, but this place was absolutely perfect for us. The decor is stunning minimal and very cozy, and the beach across the street is so lovely - perfect view of the sunset. There was a paddle board vendor by the beach and a taco truck which made for a great afternoon. The spa facilities are gorgeous too, we were shocked to have them all to ourselves at night on a long weekend! My only criticism is that it was a bit more of process than it needed to obtain ice. Still I give this place five stars and would highly recommend it.
There aren't enough nice words to express how wonderful the Qualicum Beach Inn was at hosting my father-in-law's 90th birthday party. We had 16 guests for a private dinner in one of their conference rooms and a number of guests stayed in the hotel rooms.Right from the get-go of planning, the F&B management team was great at communicating and accommodating our party. We had ages 1.5-90, we needed high chairs, our own music, our own decorations and some special menus. Every request we made was met with nods of yes and an ease of reassurance to my MIL We changed the seating plan a couple of times and they were easy-peasy about it. When we all arrived, our head server Paul introduced himself and made sure we had everything we needed. Julie, our second server arrived and was amazing - the whole team was wonderful. My 1.5 year old daughter was running around like a toddler does, playing on the phones and creating ruckus and the team was so wonderful with her. Julie brought her crayons and eventually, took her for a walk while speeches were happening so me and her dad could listen intently. In fact, she probably spent all her of downbreak time playing with my little one. From the front desk team, to the F&B team, the rooms and the restaurant (which had live music that my daughter loved dancing to in front of all the guests) everyone was exceptional. Our family said the rooms were beautiful and the management offered my in-laws a special parking spot because all the handicap spaces were gone. the food and beverage itself was delicious (like REALLY delicious) and the whole night was magical. We couldn't say enough great things about it and really big shout outs to Paul and Julie who went above and beyond all evening for our party! thank you for making the night so special and easy for us!!!!!!!
The food here is is definitely upbeat and delicious. This new Chef came through like Gordon Ramsay. This place will be the spot when coming thru. Beach right across the street with view from the rooms. Highly recommend !!!
Qualicum Beach Inn has a beautiful setting overlooking the water with about half its suites facing that way. Amenities are modern and rooms spacious. Wifi is free on premises. Temperature was well regulated and the bed very comfortable. There is a restaurant on the premises that is very well reviewed (myself included). Also a fitness room and pool though I did not make use of them. The only downsides from my visit are that parking is quite cramped (though free) and more significantly, it is two stories with no elevator. Be prepared to carry any luggage up the stairs, though the concierge is there to assist.
