Lovely room and meal. When we were there it was very quiet. Nice location, 15 mins from the beach
I haven't stayed overnight, but I have eaten in the restaurant (quite good - we had my mom's 80th birthday party there) and had a tour of the facility and the rooms. They have a lot of history (e.g., John Wayne stayed there while visiting, back in the day) and some interesting posters commemorating some of the famous visitors from the 1950s.
Visited this place while on our honeymoon. Units are large and luxurious. My Wife enjoyed the forest and walking paths next door. Restaurant was nice. Very peaceful and quiet. A great place to get away from it all for a few nights. Will return and stay again.
Rooms were furnished very stylishly. Staff was excellent. Continental breakfast was good, included cereal, toast, waffles, coffee, tea, jams, fresh fruit. Did not include eggs. History of the rooms was intriguing.
I travel a fair amount for work and I cannot believe what a jewel of a find this place is. The history of the mansion is preserved but still modernized and so very comfortable. From a frequent hotel traveller this is a MUST stay. Plus the rates are ridiculously reasonable.
