Nice course! But terrible staff attitude at the pro shop! On September 9th my group played Pheasant Glen for the first time. We really enjoyed the course but we were not impressed by the personnel in the pro shop. Particularly knowing it was our first time, he provided no information regarding the first tee box; instead we had to come back to the pro shop and asked twice. We rented the push carts and were unhappy to see there was no umbrella holder on th cart. It was pouring rain all day! To add insult to injury, we played Nanaimo the next day and saw there was a detachable attachment for the same push cart. We would have appreciated if your personnel had offered us the attachment. His attitude was not what we expected to see!
Im not a member but I play regularly through the summer at Pheasant Glen. General course maintenance is second to none. This results in a course that is in first class condition, whatever the weather. I live in Qualicum Beach and rate this course as the best in the area. Wonderful setting, great practice facilities and well stocked pro shop.

I had two lovely evenings at Pheasant Glens restaurant the nest. The staff were fast, accurate and kind; the food was hearty and flavourful; and the view and atmosphere was stellar - epic even. Ive also been fortunate to hit the greens a few times and it has to be one of the more majestic and well maintained courses Ive ever played on. A gem on the island and a guaranteed memorable experience!
Great golf club in a great scenic location. To bad the new menu really falls short. I read all the Pheasnt Glen hype about how great it was but its boring and really lacks any imagination. Very ordinary at best. Too bad
